Tom started Feely & Company in 1994 having spent almost 30 years working for accountancy firms in Lanarkshire. Tom has extensive experience in all areas of accounting and taxation and his many years of working in private practice have allowed him to develop a wide range of contacts within the local business sector. Tom works tirelessly to ensure that all of the firm’s clients receive a service which is tailored to their specific needs.
An avid Motherwell supporter, Tom is one of the founding board members of the Well Society. The main purpose of the Society is to acquire a controlling share in Motherwell Football Club on behalf of its members and the wider community. As a Director and Secretary, Tom is actively involved in working with the Club, fans and local businesses to increase membership and generate income to eventually allow the fans to own their own club!
Hazel started her career working in the enterprise network helping business start-up, develop and secure funding from a variety of sources. After a spell working within business banking, she started her own marketing consultancy business before joining Feely & Company and undertaking her CA training. Hazel specialises in accounts preparation, training, business planning and marketing.
John began his accountancy career working in industry with STV before moving to Feely & Company in 1996. John specialises in accounting and auditing, working with clients to analyse performance throughout the year and look for ways in which they can improve profit margins.
Susan spent time working in both Australia and New Zealand before returning to Scotland and joining Feely & Company. Susan heads up the payroll department within Feely & Company and has now passed all her exams and has applied for her ACCA membership.
Elaine joined Feely & Company in 1998 as a part-time administrator and over the years has worked her way up to the position of Office Manager where she has overall responsibility for administration, finance and company secretarial work.
